Financial Operations

â–ª Forecasting DIGIWorld and preparing budgets for Region Wise / Zone Wise, conducting variance analysis to determine difference between projected figures & actual expenditure and implementing corrective actions.

 
â–ª Managing the DIGIworld finance functions involving determining financial objectives, designing & implementing systems, policies & procedures to facilitate internal financial control.
 
Pricing & Commercials

â–ª DIGIworld Proposals, Agreement, Pricing Policies study & recommendations.

â–ª Reviewing the sourcing / pricing proposals.

â–ª Commercial discussions internally and with vendors, sourcing agencies.
Accounts/MIS for Indian and international Entities

• Supervision of Accounting in SAP

• Monitoring & Capitalization of Capital Expenditure.

• Administering maintenance of books of accounts, inclusive of P&L account, balance sheet and trial balance with the finalization of year-end accounts.

• To ensure proper bill passing & processing for payment. Bills related to Sales, Marketing, HR & Admin, IT, Service, Ensure reduction of expenses at Corporate & Regions, PO verification & expense related agreements custodian.

• Verifying and monitoring various ledgers and reconciliation statements for analyzing the accuracy of books of accounts.

• Accounts payable and vendor management

• Statutory Compliances

• Generating and preparing MIS reports.

â–ª Preparation & Tracking of Business Plan Financial reports.



Auditing & Taxation

â–ª Conducting internal & statutory audits; evaluating internal control systems to highlight the shortcomings and implementing necessary recommendations.

â–ª Preparing tax plans and ensuring timely assessment and filing of direct & indirect tax returns in compliance with statutory tax acts.
Systems Implementation

â–ª SAP implementation (Version ECC) covering all areas like FICO, Procurement to Pay, Sales and distribution, Material Module.

â–ª Managing the implementation and functioning of systems & software for smooth functioning of various operations across the organization.

â–ª Evaluating and adapting systems for ensuring maximum efficiency in overall finance & accounting operations.
Statutory Compliance

â–ª Ensuring statutory compliance to Tax Laws & liaising with regulatory authorities’ viz. Excise, company law, VAT, Service Tax, etc.

â–ª Coordinating with internal and statutory auditors for conducting audits and evaluating internal control systems; preparing audit reports to highlight the shortcomings etc.
Banking, Cash & Funds Available

â–ª Responsible for Internal Funds availability at HO and Regions with VG Finance / Regional Finance.

â–ª Arranging bank finance by way of working capital limits and term loans (as applicable)

â–ª Responsible for Foreign exchange transactions including letter of credits and outward remittances and managing day to day operations.

â–ª Responsible for payment for LC Opening / Imports payments.

• To arrange cash & ensure proper disbursement. To check all expense related cash payment vouchers/TA bills of staff & ensure proper accounting. Disbursement of Salaries and reimbursement of employees.
