Our client, a renowned multinational involved in Electrical cables, wires and transformers, urgently needs to fill the position of a General Manager in Nigeria

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor degree required, Masters Degree desired. (Electrical Engr. Discipline)
• Minimum 0f 15 years experience
• Experience in Sales/Marketing and General Management.
• Experience and/or close exposure to transformer business preferred.
• Ability to make appropriate decisions that drive positive financial performance.


RESPONSIBILITIES

• Directing the strategic development, review, and approval of short and long-range operating objectives (including sales/marketing) and profit plans within a highly empowered team environment.
• Maintaining primary customer and business relationships, and product sales through distributors.
• Setting objectives and driving results in the Following areas:
o Sales, marketing, operations, engineering, finance/accounting, product innovation, and human resources.
• Developing and identifying attractive market segments/niches (both user segment and geographic) where core products and business positioning provide an exploitable competitive advantage.
• Managing existing distribution and wholesale channels while at the same time evaluating their fit with new strategy and key growth opportunities.
• Continuing to lead formal organizational and leadership development efforts in creating a highly effective team and business.
