Our client is a NASDAQ quoted entity providing high-capacity wireless backhaul solutions for wireless service providers as well as private businesses. With numerous sales offices in North-South America, EMEA and Asia, a customer base of over 150 service providers and hundreds of private networks, their solutions are deployed in nearly 100 countries across the globe. Due to increased workload and new opportunities, this true leader is now looking to add a Sales Director to be based in Nigeria with the experience, expertise, drive and ambition to put their plan into action.

Sales Director Africa ( Nigeria & Ghana OR Kenya OR Ivory Coast )

Responsibilities:
• Reports to the President of Africa and Middle East Operations.
• Plans and executes regional business plans to increase market share and achieve aggressive and sustainable double-digit growth targets.
• Formulates and develops strategies to obtain new customers while maintaining relationships and identifying growth opportunities with existing customers.
• Has personal sales responsibilities.
• Supports and oversees assigned Sales Managers.
• Identify effective partners in support of his growth initiatives for each country/customer as required.
Skills Required:
• BS degree in an applicable discipline, or equivalent, with a Master’s Degree preferable.
• Minimum of 10 years experience in sales with experience in managing sales teams in the telco industry.
• Background in telecommunications and IP
• History of leadership in double-digit sales growth in developing markets.
• Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
• Able to identify focus opportunities and to establish priorities.
• Good understanding of customer's needs and mentality.
• Local contacts and accessibility with CXO’s level within the local operators.
• Self-starter, highly motivated, hands-on, decisive with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Integrity, initiative, keen business acumen and the professional stature to match the challenges of the role.
• Ability to work well with internal and external senior management in a diverse cultural environment.
• Multi-tasking, planning, reporting and forecasting skills.
• Fluent English and French is also required for Sales Director Ivory Coast.
