Job Description

- Research, identify and create various components of the theme based curriculum at Amelio.

- Identify training needs for teachers and create training modules for the same. Identify training resources, create and implement training programmes for teachers

- Research, analyse and create relevant, up-to-date and thorough curriculum for the 4+ age group of children based on Multiple Intelligences, and in line with the World of Discovery curriculum

- Identify resources to make training videos for Amelio, and coordinate the creation of such training videos

- Maintain and safe-keep the Amelio all World of Discovery material and disseminate to centers on an as-needed basis

- Visit centers and inspect the curriculum implementation and determine implementation Vs plans and create and implement ways to better curriculum implementation at the centers

- Continuously monitor curriculum planning and implementation for all age groups of children and find ways to make such planning and implementation more effective for children

- The above list is only indicative of job role and not exhaustive. The incumbent will be required to work on projects as deemed necessary by management for the efficient functioning of the organization and its centers

Qualifications:


Under graduate or post graduate degree in psychology, child psychology, social psychology, Sociology etc.

Keen and proven interest in early childhood education and development

Prior experience as a teacher of a kindergarten/ preschool is an advantage

Capabilities:


Extremely proficient with the computer, MS office, Outlook and other computer applications

Candidate must be willing to travel to centres to monitor curriculum implementation

Candidate must be extremely driven, proactive, articulate and with extremely high analytical skills

Candidate must be interested in and capable of research and documentation
