Job Description

• Design and Engineering of Bulk Material Handling Systems like Belt Conveyor, Bucket Elevator and Screw Conveyor etc.

• Preparation of General Arrangement Drawings.

• Preparation of flow diagrams and P&IDs.

• Provide technical guidence to drafting / designing personnel and co-ordination of design and drafting work within assigned areas.

• Deliver materials handling engineering design according to required project timeframes and standards by supervising the performance of materials handling engineers on projects, reviewing deliverables and providing high level technical expertise.

• Interfacing with engineers from other disciplines to review and improve design standards and procedures.

• Should have worked on materials handling system project independently.

• Designs in accordance with the design specification and standard.

• Provide support for new product introduction to manufacturing.

• Maintain design input and outputs documents.

• Study of Customer requirements preparation of the same from Customer and ensure compliance with quality parameters during the production and authorise approvals, Field failure analysis & Suggesting corrective measures, Standardization and Documentation of all Departments.

• Must have worked with any reputed consultancy firm or an EPC company in India or abroad.

• Conversant with relevant codes and standards.

• Should have worked in designing of material handling systems in steel, power, cement, sugar or other industrial process plant and washery.

• Should have knowledge of welding symbol, fabrication drawings and hardwares etc.

• should have thorough knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Excel and MS Word.

• Should have experience in different phase of construction like foundation construction, fabrication, erection, trouble shooting and commissioning etc.
